Screening of the beautiful Jacques Cousteau biopic.
Spanning a decade of his life, Cousteau (Wilson) is a husband to Simone (Tautou) and father of two. But he’s also a restless adventurer, dedicated to taking his invention – the aqualung – and his vessel, the Calypso, across the world’s oceans. When his son Philippe (Niney) returns from boarding school, he finds Cousteau greatly altered by fame and megalomaniac dreams. Conflict inevitably arises. But on their greatest adventure together aboard the Calypso, in Antarctica, they will find each other – before tragedy strikes.
