Meet the cast!
We welcome back Mark Lamb, who returns to Yeovil to play the title role of Jack Trott. Mark dazzled and charmed as Prince Charming in last year's production of Cinderella at Wstlands Entertainment Venue. Mark is delighted to be back again, entertaining the crowds and working alongside such a talented cast!
Mark's credits include: Sondheim's Old Friends (Sondheim Theatre, West End), Maria Friedman & Friends (Menier Chocolate Factory, Theatre De L'Amour (Secret Cinema), Singer/Dancer for Norwegian Cruise Lines, Prince in Sleeping Beauty (Castle Theatre Wellingborough), and Prince Charming in Cinderella (Millennium Forum, Londonberry).
We've cast the incredible Lizzie Bea to play the role of Princess Jill!
You might have caught Lizzie playing roles such as Sister Mary Robert in Sister Act (Dominion Theatre, Hammersmith Apollo and Uk Tour), Martha Dunnstock in Heathers (The Other Palace), Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray (London Coliseum), or Pat in Kinky Boots (UK Tour) - to name a few!
We're delighted to welcome Lizzie to Yeovil, and we know she is looking forward to starring in the panto this Christmas, bringing her enthusiasm and festive cheer to the stage.
We are thrilled to announce that we've cast the amazing Alana Robinson to play Fairy Motown in this years Jack and the Beanstalk!
Alana is an American actress from Washinton, DC, best known for her portrayal of Catherine Parr in Six The Musical. Most recently, she played Maggie in Jubilee, a play released on BBC radio in the summer of 2024.
A graduate from the prestigious Royal Accademy of Music in London as well as Temple University's Theatre, Film, and Media Arts department, Alana has always been passionate about the performing arts. She's most excied about spending Christmas away from the city and performing in her first-ever pantomime - we're so excited to have her!
Introducing Daniel Page as the one and only Dame Trott!
Daniel is no stranger to the world of pantomime. Known as "Exeter's favourite Dame", we feel very lucky to have him in our panto this year.
Having trained at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, Daniel has an abundance of theatre credits, including performing in the West End! His West End credits range from Billy Elliot - The Musical to Secret Gardens (RSC), and Dick Whittington at Sadler's Wells to Bugle Boy - The Glen Milller Story.
Our Stellar cast welcomes Kevin James, who will be playing Billy Trott! Since leaving home to pursue the roar of the greasepaint, and the smell of the crowd, Kevin has appeared in various roles on stage, film, TV, and radio.
A pantomime regular, Kevin has performed in various comic guises in productions of Aladdin, Dick Whittington, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Jack and the Beanstalk, Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan, and Cinderella at theatres across the country. Kevin is looking forward to showing you his funny side... (hopefully!)
Every panto needs a baddie... (Oh no it doesn't! Oh yes it does!). We're excited to announce Georgie will be playing our pantomime baddie, Desdemona, in her debut at Westlands!
Georgie trained at The Urdang Academy and graduated in 2022. Since then she has earned a number of theatre credits including: Poppy Piglet in The Three Little Pigs (UK Tour), Piggie in Elephant and Piggie's: We are in a Play! (European Premiere, Perform in the Park, Bloomsbury), and Merry in Christmas Speclatular: in the St Nick of Time! (The Regent Centre, Bournemouth).
