This concert will be held at: Westlands Entertainment Venue

Calling all KS1 schools in Somerset - join us for an exciting free concert based around the theme of Curious Creatures and the natural world.

Designed especially for a KS1 audience, the 1-hour presented concert will feature an ensemble of 9 musicians from the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.  Performing a fun programme of adventurous music, this concert will showcase the instruments of the orchestra and explore how musicians and composers have stretched the boundaries of music.

The performance will support the KS1 area of the curriculum through ‘listening with concentration and understanding to a range of high quality live music’, as well as give children all the excitement of a concert experience with specially curated music for the KS1 audience, taking them on a musical journey through the natural world led by some very adventurous and curious creatures.
