Panto In A Week: Easter Holiday Activities

Panto In A Week: Easter Holiday Activities

Panto at Easter? Oh yes, we are!

A fabulous 4-day ‘Build a Panto in a Week’ holiday activity over the Easter holidays.

Come and work with our two fabulous practitioners: Gordon Cooper and James Bamford. Who were recently seen in our Christmas pantomime Cinderella.

Gordon Cooper is a Scottish Actor and Voice Over artist who trained at The Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. His acting career has included everything from gritty drama for Channel 4, comedy for the BBC, Shakespeare, Musical Theatre, and award-winning children’s shows, both in this country and abroad. Gordon is an experienced Pantomime dame and was recently nominated in the “Best Dame” category at the Great British Pantomime Awards.

James Bamford - Originally from Yeovil, James is a producer, creative and performer and Director of the arts organisation, Project Dance. As a dancer, he has worked across theatre, film and television, and recently appeared in Greta Gerwig's Barbie.

They will lead the group in creating its very own unique short pantomime with a beginning, middle and end; full of singing, dancing, and acting along with lots of humour and classic panto jokes! On day 4, you will get to share your creation and perform to your friends and family. We will ensure all work is fully accessible and require any information of SEND or additional needs ahead of the sessions, to plan for and ensure the safety and support of all young people in the room. The practitioners are all experienced in adapting and supporting disabled children and young people.

For an additional cost you can opt to include food for the week; this will include fruit snacks on arrival, a hot lunchtime meal (for example lasagne, Mac n cheese) or sandwiches if preferred plus a baked treat for afters. You will also receive a ‘Make and Take’ pack at the end of the week, which will enable you to do some cooking at home after the course.

Where: Westlands Entertainment Venue, Yeovil
Time: 10am – 4pm
