Winners of the 1st Grand Prize at the Bordeaux International String Quartet Competition and winners of top prizes at the Banff International String Quartet Competition, Prague Spring International Music Competition and London International String Quartet Competition, the Zemlinsky Quartet are one of the Czech Republic’s leading ensembles. They have performed in every country in Europe and in Canada, USA, Brazil, Japan, South Korea and bring to Yeovil two of the most lyrical quartets in the repertoire, Dvorak’s American and Smetana’s From My Life.
